What Others Are Saying About Us
During the last few years, Paparazzi Pizza, located at 2145 N. Josey Lane in Carrollton, Texas, has received more awards and attention than just about any other restaurant around.
In March 2012, the Carrollton Leader and Star Community Newspapers Reader’s Choice voted Paparazzi Pizza the number one favorite business in the communities served.
D Magazine recommended Paparazzi Pizza as a favorite pizza place in both 2010 and 2011. Right after Paparazzi Pizza opened in 2005, the Dallas Observer voted it Best Suburban Pizza Place and D Magazine also had write-ups about it 2006 with the headline: “Worth the Drive.”
Carrollton Mayor Matthew Marchant said Paparazzi Pizza is popular because the food is great, and partly because the owner, George Kadado, is such a nice, friendly guy.
“George’s hospitality, interesting and original recipes and amazing food have allowed his excellent restaurant to thrive,” Marchant said. “We are proud of his success and are happy we have such a tasty and inviting restaurant in our city.”
Paparazzi Pizza provided pizza for members of the Carrollton City Council and their guests prior to a recent council meeting.
Kadado, a Lebanese-Greek descendant, said, “Nobody makes a pie like we do.”
He added, “We do not use use frozen or pre-cooked ingredients. Dough is prepared on a daily basis and we bake in a brick deck oven. We specialize in culinary masterpiece with flavorful crust.”
He continued, “Paparazzi Pizza is an independent family pizzeria that focuses on quality and superior customer service. Paparazzi Pizza sets the standards in quality of service as much as quality of a superior product.”
Concerning the name of his restaurant, Kadado said, “The name was inspired by paparazzi photographers looking for their best celebrity shot related to our customers looking for the best pizza place.”
